My Business Matches (MBM) is beta launching an online global business matchmaking portal on August 7, 2012.

My business Matches is a new portal that equips corporations, organizations and government agencies with an online, user friendly business matchmaking platform that matches, schedules meetings (virtually and in person) and tracks the business results between buyers and capable, qualified suppliers.

Among the initial beta testers are: The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

The official launch of My Business online business matchmaking portal is scheduled for September 2012.

THE SBA AND MY BUSINESS MATCHES�” KICK OFF A 14 CITY MENTOR-PROTG FORUM THAT WILL TOUR ACROSS THE UNITED STAES

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and My Business Matches�” are teaming up to bring 14 regional Mentor-Protg Forums across the United States. Washington, DC, is kicking off the first Mentor-Protg Forum, on January 26, 2012, at the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City.

The goal of the Mentor-Protg Forum is to educate 8(a) small business owners how to compete for federal government contracts. It will also host a business matchmaker that will organize face-to-face meetings with prime contractors and 8(a), small disadvantaged businesses to discuss formal mentor-protg relationships, joint ventures and subcontracting opportunities.

President and CEO of My Business Matches, Jeff Vigil, said, �This is an exiting time for the SBA and My Business Matches.
